Volunteer camp project

With the help of the local committee’s volunteers, reinvigorate an intergenerational park by repairing benches, painting furniture, developing trails and installing floral arrangements. This upgrade will make the park more enjoyable for the town’s 540 residents.

Saint-Bruno-de-Kamouraska’s Comité d’action communautaire (Community Action Committee) defends, protects and promotes the community’s interests on the cultural, patrimonial, social and economic levels. One of its priorities is to offer all its citizens a more pleasant and welcoming living environment.
Camp Characteristics
Volunteers will be sleeping in a community room where guys and girls will be seperated. They will cook their own meals. There will be no or very little access to internet.

Location
Located on the south of the St. Lawrence River and a couple of minutes away from the sea, Saint-Bruno-de-Kamouraska has a population of 565. There are no fewer than 18 bridges and many streams, lakes and rivers, which are a delight for hikers. To this day still, forestry and agriculture are the town’s main economic activities, with tourism being its new hub.
