Partner: LYVS (League of Youth Voluntary Service) has been organizing workcamps for over 10 years. Every project starts in Minsk, the capital city.

Partner: The association Les Compagnons Bâtisseurs de Belgique (CBB) is located in Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium. The association was founded in 1953 and its mission was to help refugees build houses. Today, CBB mostly mentors youth and works in the social area. It has many international projects as well.

Partner: MS ActionAid Denmark was founded in 1944 and has been organizing workcamps for over 30 years. Their main objective is to promote international agreement and solidarity beyond national and cultural differences.

It’s the participant’s responsibility to apply for a travel visa directly with the Royal Embassy of Denmark. The work visa takes about 3 months to get, so you must plan ahead of time. 

Estonia

Partner: ESTYES was founded in 1991 and works towards intercultural exchanges and good relationships between youth across the world.

Finland

Partner: Allianssi is the confederation of more than 100 Finnish youth organizations who work together for international and cultural exchanges. They offer different types of training sessions and workshops as well as workcamps, which are a long-standing tradition at Allianssi.

Partners: ELIX – Conservation Volunteers in Greece was founded in 1987 to help people from different social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds bond and collaborate with each other. We also work with Citizen in Action (CiA), an organization only managed by its volunteers.

India

Partners: In India, our partners FSL (Field Services and Inter-cultural Learning) and RUCHI offer workcamps all year long.

Iceland

Partners: Worldwide Friends Iceland (WF) has been organizing workcamps for more than 10 years. Founded in 2005, See beyond Borders (SEEDS) is our second Icelandic partner.

Icelandic organizations are not funded by the State and don’t receive funds from local partners. So, they often charge additional fees, which have to be paid directly to them during the workcamp. 

Shuttle buses to the work site are often available. If you wish to arrive earlier, local partners can provide you with accommodation.

Italy

Partners: For 16 years now, Legambiente focuses on conservation and protection of the environment. If it’s the social and cultural aspects that interest you, there’s the organization Lunaria. As for YAP Italy, it organizes workcamps since the early seventies. Finally, InformaGiovani is a network of different organizations who use volunteering as a tool to better the society.

Japan

Partners: NICE (Never-ending International Volunteer Exchange) exists since 1991. Their workcamps stand out due to their detailed planning and excellent monitoring. Our second partner is CIEE-Japan and it offers student exchanges as well as international workcamps.

Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia that shares its land borders with China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It’s a destination for our more experienced travellers or interns who want to engage over a longer period. Scenic mountains, breathtaking landscapes and a rich culture await you!

Partner: The non-profit organization Leadership aims to bring young people together by involving them in civil societies through volunteering, project design, and local and international cooperation. Leadership was founded in 2005 under the auspices of the Public Association Leader, a centre of civil society initiatives.

Partner: Deineta CYVA (Center of youth voluntary services) was founded in 1988 as a result of student clubs associating.

Mexico

Partners: Our partners in Mexico are VIMEX and VIVE and they have organized workcamps since the eighties and nineties. We also work with Nataté, a budding organization. VIMEX and VIVE also offer a 5- or 7-day Spanish program for those who want to learn and practice the language prior to the workcamp.

Mongolia
