Chantiers jeunesse is pleased to offer youth volunteers the chance to make a long term commitment to a community partner, by joining forces with them over a period of 4 weeks to 6 months.

Volunteers will be paired with host organizations based on individual interests and experience, as well as the partner’s needs.

Chantiers jeunesse is involved every step of the way, from selecting and training the volunteer to organizing travel and accommodation to the host community, and supporting the volunteer in their personal and professional development throughout their placement.

A Mid to Long-Term Volunteering (MTV) project is an exchange between a volunteer who gives their time, work and energy to a community-focused project and a host organisation. The organisation will act as a mentor to the volunteer by providing them with the opportunity to develop professional skills and their sense of initiative through continued support for the duration of the placement
