You’ve done a workcamp?

Your engagement with Chantiers jeunesse gave you unforgettable memories?

You deeply believe in our mission and want to ensure its long-term impact?

You want to broaden your professional background while spreading good words about Chantiers jeunesse?

You want to tell others about your experience and help other young adults pursue an extraordinary journey?

Become an ambassador!

What does an ambassador do?
+

Being an ambassador is a voluntary commitment by a former or current CJ volunteer who wishes to pursue and extend their engagement with Chantiers jeunesse.

Your tasks are to:

  • Keep an eye on events and activities where we could promote our mission and be in charge of its logistical details
  • Participate in different activities, such as conferences and local and national events, that align with your interests and availabilities so that you can share your experience
  • Contribute to the mini-blog by writing about your experience as a volunteer and ambassador
  • Be a part of the decision making and help shape the future of Chantiers jeunesse (e.g., you could help select future projects and host partners in Canada)

Why become an ambassador?
+

Here are a few reasons why:

  • To participate in fun and interesting activities, conferences and training sessions with all expenses paid
  • To learn new professional skills by taking on responsibilities associated with the mandate
  • To practice and better your communication and leadership skills
  • To meet other engaged youth and expand your network
  • To stay engaged by participating in a variety of stimulating events
  • To have an impact on Chantier jeunesse’s approach by sharing your highly valued thoughts, ideas and opinions
  • To share your experience, recruit new volunteers and ensure that other youth will experience this unique adventure

How does it work?
+

It’s a renewable one-year mandate.

It’ll require on average one day per month depending on the event calendar (some months might be busier than others and some, less).

You’ll have access to a member area with all the information and reference material you’ll need to be an ambassador.

I'm interested! How can I apply?
+

Do you meet all these criteria?

  • You’re in between 18 and 30 years old.
  • You’ve done at least one workcamp with Chantiers jeunesse.
  • You’ve done volunteer work for Chantiers jeunesse or are available to do it for an average of one day per month.
  • You’re interested and motivated.

Great! You’re eligible to become an ambassador!

Please send us a one-to-two-page cover letter or a one-to-two-minute video to tell us:
